1. These terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between the person using the services and One Think, Inc. (“One Think,” “we,” or “us”). They apply to the installed Anywhere iOS app, onethink.io, the Anywhere invitation page, and access to the Anywhere beta.

By installing or using Anywhere, using the website, or continuing through an invitation, the person agrees to these terms. If they do not agree, they must not continue. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights under the law where a person lives are not limited by these terms.

2. Anywhere for iOS

Anywhere is a reciprocal location-sharing app for exactly two people. Each person owns their own Apple CloudKit zone, shares selected information with the other, and can independently choose Precise, Approximate, or Paused. Earlier versions offered a retired City only choice that the current app can still read for compatibility. Anywhere also offers requests, five-minute Find sessions, Together Quiet, widgets, and Sky memories containing reduced, location-derived facts but no latitude or longitude.

Anywhere requires a compatible iPhone, an Apple Account with iCloud and CloudKit available, and the permissions needed for the features a person chooses. Some functionality can be delayed or unavailable because of device state, permission choices, sensor accuracy, connectivity, iCloud, Apple services, or beta changes.

Anywhere does not create a separate One Think account. The person remains responsible for their Apple Account, device security, connectivity, and compliance with Apple’s terms.

3. Eligibility and meaningful choice

A person must be at least 18 years old to use Anywhere, old enough to hold the Apple Account they use, and legally able to agree to these terms. Anywhere is not a child or family-tracking product and must never be installed or used to monitor a child.

Both people must knowingly and freely choose to participate. A person may narrow or pause what they share, revoke iOS permission, ignore or mute a flare, or unpair without the other person’s permission. No one may pressure, deceive, threaten, or punish another person for exercising those choices.

4. Respectful and lawful use

A person may not use Anywhere, the website, or an invitation to:

• track, monitor, locate, pressure, impersonate, deceive, threaten, stalk, or harass someone;
• pair, accept an invitation, or enable permissions on another person’s behalf without their informed and voluntary choice;
• use Anywhere against a child, employee, dependent, or any person who cannot freely refuse;
• publish or forward a private invitation contrary to the sender’s intent;
• bypass permissions, one-person access, expiry behavior, reciprocal proof, or other security controls;
• alter CloudKit records outside the intended app flow, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, scrape it, or reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits;
• violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, contractual rights, or applicable law.

Each person is responsible for how they use information legitimately shown to them. Anywhere’s mutual design and technical limits do not make harmful conduct acceptable.

5. Invitation links

An Anywhere invitation is intended for exactly one recipient. Its URL fragment contains an encoded—not encrypted—CloudKit share capability and can include a sender first name and creation time. Anyone who obtains the still-valid capability may be able to accept it. Send it only to the intended person through a channel you trust, and unpair or replace the invitation if it goes astray.

The invitation webpage can show an expired state after 24 hours. That display does not itself erase copies of the link or guarantee that every app, Apple, messaging, clipboard, browser-history, or third-party state has been disabled at that instant. A name or link can remain wherever it was shared.

6. TestFlight and beta access

Anywhere may be offered as pre-release software through Apple TestFlight. Apple operates TestFlight independently, and Apple’s TestFlight Terms also apply.

A beta can be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors, lose compatibility, lose data, or become unavailable. Features, invitations, pairings, and Sky records may be limited, reset, suspended, or ended as testing evolves. Do not depend on beta data as the only copy of anything important.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains Anywhere’s reciprocal CloudKit design, information processed in each sharing mode, Apple services, retention, unpairing, and user rights. Its website section separately explains the invitation page, contact form, and hosting information.

A person must not use information received through Anywhere for a purpose that violates the other person’s rights, expectations, or law. Nothing already seen, remembered, screenshotted, or exported can be technically “unsent.”

8. Safety disclaimer

Anywhere is not an emergency, rescue, personal-safety, surveillance, or safety-critical navigation service. A location, distance, direction, place, sharing state, notification, or Together Quiet state can be delayed, inaccurate, interrupted, stale, or unavailable. Approximate is intentionally imprecise, Paused intentionally carries no location, legacy City only records carry place information without a coordinate, and Together Quiet can prove only that two phones met bounded proximity conditions.

Do not use Anywhere to locate someone in danger, replace emergency services, make medical or safety decisions, prove where a person was, guide a vehicle, or decide whether an area or activity is safe. Contact local emergency services and use appropriate dedicated tools when safety is at risk.

One is a consumer wellness product for reflection, not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, or professional advice.

9. Website and contact form

The website and invitation page are provided for information, invitations, beta access, and contact. Do not submit a location, invitation link, another person’s private information, or sensitive relationship information through the general contact form.

A person may link to publicly available pages in a lawful and non-misleading way, but may not frame, copy, republish, automate access to, overload, probe, or interfere with the pages or falsely suggest endorsement.

10. Ownership, licence, and feedback

One Think and its licensors retain their rights in Anywhere, the site, names, logos, artwork, software, and other materials. Subject to these terms and Apple’s terms, we grant each eligible user a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Anywhere and the pages for their intended private, non-commercial purpose.

The people using Anywhere retain their rights in their personal information and exported material. We claim no ownership of their relationship records.

If someone voluntarily sends feedback, ideas, or beta reports, they allow One Think to use them without restriction or payment to improve, develop, and promote its products. Do not include another person’s private information or an invitation capability in feedback.

11. Apple and other services

Anywhere is obtained through Apple and uses Apple services. Apple’s applicable Media Services terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply in addition to these terms. These terms are between the user and One Think, not Apple; One Think, not Apple, is responsible for Anywhere and for addressing product, privacy, support, and legal claims to the extent required by law.

Apple, Formspree, messaging apps, hosting providers, mobile carriers, and user-chosen sharing destinations operate under their own terms. One Think is not responsible for a third-party service’s independent operation, but nothing here removes responsibility that applicable law places on One Think.

12. Leaving, availability, and ending access

A person can stop using the website at any time and can leave the TestFlight beta through Apple. In Anywhere, use Unpair to clear the relationship locally and start revocation and deletion of that person’s own CloudKit relationship zone. Offline conditions or iCloud errors can delay remote cleanup; Anywhere retries and reports incomplete removal. Reset This Device or deleting the app is not unpairing. One person’s unpair cannot erase the other person’s independently retained Sky, screenshots, or exports.

We may change, pause, or end a website feature, invitation flow, beta feature, or beta access. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate reported misuse, comply with law, or secure the service. Because One Think does not operate the two people’s CloudKit relationship zones, ending beta access does not give us a technical ability to erase those zones for them.

13. Disclaimers and responsibility

The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent law permits, we do not promise that they will always be accurate, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the extent law permits, One Think is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by relying on stale or inaccurate location information, an unavailable service, lost beta data, misuse of an invitation, another person’s conduct, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights that law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Applicable statutory consumer rights remain intact.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the products, beta, or law changes. We will update the effective date above and provide any additional notice required by law. Material app changes will be surfaced through the app or its distribution channel as appropriate.
